This is going to get a lot of hate, but Wes Anderson films are great to look at and the visuals tickle the mind, but there's just no substance.

Like I can remember scenes and how it looks but I can't remember what the damn movie was about.

The ironic thing is there usually is substance but its buried under all the aesthetic and the deadpan actng so its hard to connect with it. Most of his movies have some sort of touching story at the core of it though. He just presents the stories with all of the subdued wasp-y emotions
