What the title says.

It's a bit annoying to login to Steam only for it to only auto-download 3 of 50 updates requiring you to click on each "Download now" button. It's even more annoying on the Steam Deck with the low resolution and with how the download buttons jump around every time you click on one.

It whites out certain parts of the screen if not all of it. I have to Uninstaller steam and reinstall it to fix it why is this happening and how to I prevent it from happening any more?

I know, there are low violence versions for 3 and new vegas, that are also only available in german. I do absolutely not wan't to play those, because I 1: hate any kind of censorship and 2: would never play those in german, since I play everything in english or japanese voiceover with english subtitles. I know, you can get the ultimate edition of new vegas and it is supposed to include other languages but is it also uncensored? and what is the case with fallout 3?

I had a new computer assembled, but I would really like to have absolutely nothing from my games be carried over to the new computer because it just so happens I would like a new playthrough on all of my games, which by now have permanent damage because of mods.
If I disable my steam cloud on my old PC and install my games on my new PC, will there be even a very very slight piece of Data that carries over?

do you know if it is safe to buy Titanfall II for singleplayer only? Or is it probable that the game just won't launch in like 2027 cause EA will turn the servers off? Rather asking cause the The Crew that I bought on Steam just won't launch anymore.

I noticed already for a little while that when i try to scroll trough my steam game achievements list, its extremely slow, reminding me my experience of trying to play newer games on my potato PC. Any suggestions?

On the topic of linked accounts, My steam was created just after Portal 2 hit console, I bought it for the Playstation 3 and to access online features you had to link a steam account. Prior to Portal 2 I never had a computer to use steam on so my account was created via the Playstation Network. For some reason Steam decided to append PSN_ to the front of my user name, it's still there and I doubt I'll change it. My user also has 2 underscores in it due to the prefix which at the time wasn't allowed for PSN and steam usernames.

Did anyone else create a steam account in a similar way, does your login name still have the prefix and what, if any, prefix did steam put on Xbox users?

As the title describes, I cannot use any buttons in the Steam launcher other than browsing the store. I also am unable to launch any of my games. I've restarted Steam, my computer, and completely uninstalled and reinstalled Steam. Something isn't working, and I can't figure out what is is. If anyone has any ideas, I'm fresh out, so they'd be greatly appreciated.

The overlay itself works, and I can do stuff like write to my friends uing my keyboard, but I can't do anything with my mouse.

Any suggestion?

i downloaded the defcon demo and it looks like a complete game, what's missing that's present in the paid game?

So I have a problem I downloaded a bunch of games to a hard drive. Now work needs that specific letter drive. If I change the letter will Steam be able to find the games?

I remember one of the major complaints from a while back was that with all the shlock on Steam it's hard to find any good games. But I noticed over the last year in particular Steam has been doing tons of events to aid visibility.

Between the Demo fest or a publisher display or FPS fest etc etc Steam has done an awesome job at giving every kind of game on steam its time to shine.

Folks often talk about how Steam works quietly and this feels like one of those instances of Steam heading off an issue that crept onto their platform. They've stayed the place to find all the best games.

They feel like the place where AA games have come to thrive while Sony's focused on AAA, Nintendo is Nintendo(for better & worse) and Xbox flounders.

My older brother and I share our Steam libraries via the family programme. Unfortunately, sometimes I can't access his games, even though (according to him) he's not playing. Do you have an explanation for this?

Has anyone else had this happen to them?
