She admitted to stealing your personal property to give to her son! Not to mention the obvious of violating your privacy and likely the terms of your lease. Even if you didn’t sign an actual lease, the fact that you pay her to live there will give you defacto rights in most places. Check the renters rights in your jurisdiction and see what recourse you have. You’re absolutely not overreacting.

She wasn't even just in your room, she stole your things. That is not what a landlord should ever do. No, you're not overreacting, I would be moving out and citing that exact reason.

Typically 24 hours notice is required, unless you have requested maintenance. Unfortunately there probably aren’t any legal steps you can take right now. That said, DOCUMENT what happened in an email and plainly state the obvious - that no one should be entering a bedroom with someone sleeping in it. If further behavior ensues, you’ll be better prepared to deal

Edit: Looks like this got some attention. Imrindar is correct below: check the specific lease and law and you may deny entry in a future such situation.
