What does your profile avatar say about you? Discussion

Mine is my ideal cool look.

Edit: This post blew up overnight, so I couldn't reply to everyone. Sorry about that.

But I read every single comment and many of the snoos seem to be what you look like in real life, want to look like in real life, a fantasy version of yourself or an expression of what your life is going through, or what you want to feel. Apparently, there's an lgbt+ heart that exists, which I didn't know before today.

The people with profile pics have selfies, pets, or their interests like bands, anime, and games. Some unique people have used their own art as their pfp, and I love it. And many of you quirky weirdos have memes as your pfps, lol

I felt really good to see people affirming themselves in this post, and the amount of diversity in this sub is incredible. Every single one of you is a complex, unique individual with varied interests and talents. All of us want to live a good life, but your replies showed me that the definition of happiness is different for different people.

To the folks who demeaned themselves or said that they are depressed, please take care. I wish with all my heart that you get a chance to heal. Life may be tough today, but try to take small, manageable steps to improve your life.

None of the reddit free clothes have my style so i couldn't express much other than a part of me being goth. And i tried to make my profile seem like it is wearing a cape (cuz i have a gothic cropped cardigan with a big hoodie and wide set cape sleeves) and although it might look generic (as i've seen more people have the black hoodie avatar lately) i surely like the cloak of anonymity it brings. Also i have dark piercing eyes and i made my avatar have it too.

But once in a while i do hope someone actually notices what i tried to do lol.

This Crystal Reed. The main character in my story Crystal clear, where she is the main character that goes by the name Crystal Danvers.

This novel was meant to be written for my favourite professor but we had a fallout and I think there is no way to fix things. Ironically I will finally drop it when I finally figured the whole plot.

Fairly accurate hair color, though my actual hair is multicolored and multitextured. It gets darker brown and curlier the farther down on my head it is. I have green eyes, though not this dramatic. Also, lesbian
