Can I play my PS5 or Series X wirelessly while at work on my iPad Pro 4th gen?
I can buy a controller. I just recently got a second job where I’m not doing nothing most of the time. So far I’ve been watching TV and Anime, but if I can somehow game on my iPad that would be awesome. I can have someone home to make sure my systems are on, I just don’t know if it’s possible or not.
If it is possible, what controller can I use?

Devil May Cry 5
I have not played any DMC game. I heard they are kinda standalone games. Is it true? Should I directly buy DMC 5?

Chivalry II needs proximity chat.
It would be 100x better. Even hearing the enemies would be great. I can’t understand why they don’t do that.

Is there anyone here that has tried Balatro and decided that they don't like it?
There are a few games that I find phenomenal. Outer Wilds, Disco Elysium, Slay the Spire etc. I usually find that there is a subset of people in here that arrive like the Spanish Inquisition to let everybody know that they don't like these games whenever they are mentioned.
So far I have not seen a single person say that they don't like Balatro. Maybe it's because the game is so much better than it initially looks. I'm just interested in some takes that go against Balatro. Maybe everybody just loves it? That seems very rare.

Local coop games with 3yo? (PS5)
Looking for any suggestions for ps5 games that are relatively easy or sandboxy that I can play local/splitscreen multiplayer with my 3.5yo. He loves astros playroom but we've completed that for awhile now. He also loves racing games and cars/trucks in general.
I'm looking at crash team racing right now but I cant tell if 100% it has splitscreen.
Update: Thanks for all your suggestions! Weve gone with LEGO 2K Drive for now and hes having a blast with it. I especially appreciate that theres at least one cpu thats around his pace. He enjoyed making an offroad car loaded with "diving boards" sticking out the side (very effective at destroying props haha) and we even played a hockey minigame where he beat me 2-1. I was disappointed to see microtransactions but they were disabled by default so thats fine. Theres a lot of good stuff in the comments. Ill be sure to come back to the list in the future!
Cheers!

What steam games are you currently playing?
I'm finally starting to use my PC for gaming. I'm looking for recommendations on Steam. I'm open to trying anything. So far I have played and enjoyed: Stardew valley, Tower Unite, and Sims 4. Other non steam games I have enjoyed are: Pokémon, Mario, Zelda, and Animal Crossing. I'm just looking to try something different I guess. Thanks!

Any MOBA shooters with both heroes (players) and minions (spawned by players)? Either FPS or TPS, not top-down.

Is CoD WW2 (SP) a bit of a gem?
Played in 2017 and thought it was decent. Replayed the whole thing in a day (10 hours or so) and reckon it’s superb. Focussed story, good account of the various WW2 battles and good acting. Gunplay fun, no complex mechanics, good weapons
I dunno, think it was seen as a bit cheesy at the time but reckon it’s one of the better war SP’s in my library
What do others think?

Help looking for a type of game
Hey, I don't even know if it's a genre it just my weird specific itch: I'd like something where you feel powerful and can mow down waves of enemies or at least have satisfying attacks that can chain combo or something...
I've seen devil survivor but it's not on ps5 yet and I 've also looked at diablo 4 but I'm not sure how many enemies you usually fight and if it it easy and satisfying to set up attacks that would decilate the incoming waves of enemies...
Thanks in advance ❤️

What are your top 5 favorite gaming characters, based on categories
So i'm curious as to what the top 5 favorite gaming characters are to people. However instead of just saying your top 5 favorite characters, i want to use 5 categories instead.
This one is simple, what is your favorite video game character of all time?
What is your favorite character based on design? Basically take away their personality, gameplay and stuff like that, and just look at the design.
What is your favorite character based on personality. Some characters might not have a good design, but make up for it in their personality.
What is your favorite character gameplay vise? Basically how fun the character is to play as. Maybe they are fun to move around with or have fun abilities.
What is your favorite character based on their story. Basically what is their story in the game and why do you like it. It could be either their current story, backstory and both.
Note: Of course there are characters that could fit multiple categories (or all of them), but i would love to see some different choices and explanations to every category (if you want to obviously)

Looking for PC games that have good rumble effect(controller)
Hello, I'm looking for graphically beautiful games on PC to play with a Xbox series X controller.
It's for my little cousins who really enjoy rumble effect, and prefer stunning graphics. Good story, or anything isn't a priority, as they don't understand it. They just ventures through.
Thank you.
Medal of Honor (2010)
Had this game for ages but never played it. Today I've started the single player campaign. The gameplay kinda sucks and got a little discouraged to play at the beginning, but stick with it because the story and pace is top notch.
From what I can tell, the missions are even based of real medal of honor awarded soldiers like Chapman. Can't imagine family members of these guys playing this game, it must be traumatizing for them. Specially the incident of the downed chinook.
Loving the campaign, God bless the family members of these men.
Medal of Honor series still got its charm

I recommend Muramasa: The Demon Blade
This game goes so fucking hard and it's metal as fuck. The combat music slaps, the boss battles are very fun, but their designs are what shine. The combat can be as sloppy or as precise as you want it to be and the mini boss lairs are very difficult (for me) to get through. I was at level 20 struggling with a level 9 challenge. It was still a challenge after I adjusted, but I got through it better once I paid more attention to what I was doing and caught where I was going wrong.
I'll be honest and say I can't really follow the story in between the boss checkpoints. I don't get lost in direction, but I do forget what exactly is going on in the story once I finish a boss and get back to exploring. Also, the backtracking can feel like much at times, but you get places pretty quickly. It's just a lot of running.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and kind of brainless hack-and-slash, but the presentation of the game is what really has me locked in.

Whats one game you wish you could go back and replay???
Whats that one game where it was just a masterpiece and you wish you could’ve made it last longer. For me, Tears of the Kingdom, just a masterpiece of a game, wish I could’ve played it forever.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. Gloriously underrated game. One of the most intense depictions of WW2 I've ever played. Shame there's so few players in 2024.

Did Batman Arkham Asylum ruin or help action adventure games??
I loved Batman Arkham Asylum when it came out. The combat felt responsive and the stealth takedowns were always super cool and impactful. I feel though that every action adventure game afterwards was just a copy and paste of this combat/stealth system. I’m tired of the same old “press this button to counter when you see this indicator” or “sneak up and press Y for a stealth ko”. Do you guys think it improved or hurt the genre? Thanks!
