It’s sad because it’s such trivial junk that can be easily replaced. He could have swapped it for something that isn’t actually replaceable and the story would have merit.
I had a dog for 16 years from 21 to 37 that was with me through everything and I would absolutely pay an insane amount of money if it were possible to just have that dog another 5 years.
But a fucking backpack? Get out of here.
